Why charge for the Pnp?

Many people feel that pnp’s should be free, and that’s understandable. The reason we’ve decided to offer the pnp as a paid reward is simple. We have spent a lot of time designing this game including the graphics and artwork. It also gives international backers a chance to enjoy the game if they can’t afford or don’t want to pay the shipping charges. Still, we’ve tried to incorporate a few unique things to make the pnp more valuable. In our pnp you’ll get full color print-ready files including: Rulebook with strategy guide All Classic, Deluxe, and stretch goal content Editable Files like Unit cards for customization Detailed Instructions and tips for making a quality D.I.Y. version of the game Although the expected delivery date is set for Dec, we do intend to send it out much sooner, but thought it’d be better to over deliver if possible vs potentially disappoint our beloved supporters. What are Drunk Dice & Tipsy Tokens?

Drunk Dice add a bit of randomness to the game. During play, a Drunk Die is rolled at the beginning of each players turn. 1-5 correspond to the active players units and if rolled, a Tipsy Token is placed on that Unit. If the 6 is rolled, a token may be removed from any unit. If a Unit receives 3 tokens, it can’t perform actions until either “woken” by a Punch from an ally or enemy, or the tokens are removed from rolling 6’s. Please note; We are receiving a lot of feedback on this variant and while we have done quite a bit of testing with its current mechanics, slight changes may be made before final rule addition. What are Player Screens?

Player screens are an optional variant like Drunk Dice that provide a much greater challenge for players. They are used in two ways: The first is to keep party selection and arrangement on the board hidden from the opponent so players can’t strategize accordingly. They are also used during play (optional) to keep the current status and wound count of each player’s Units hidden. This means players will have to remember their previous actions! They of course must be mutually agreed upon and therefore are a variant to play. Last updated: Sat, Jul 26 2014 1:30 am EDT

What are Tavern Walls?

At the current time, these are purely cosmetic and give the Tavern a complete three dimensional look while playing. The walls will feature art such as a fire place, wall decor, and other goodies. We are however working on variants that will allow interaction of sorts with the walls, but regardless, they will look great and really enhance the tavern visually! What is Rat Rampage?

“All the ruckus from the fighting above woke something in the dark cellar. Giant vicious rats are escaping into to the Tavern! Will you put aside your fighting to rid the Tavern of them, or just let them nip at you while you pummel your foes?” Rat Rampage is a game play variant that introduces a bit more randomness into the game and gives the players the chance to work together if even briefly or screw each other over even more! Here’s how it works: 6 Rats numbered 1-6 are placed randomly inside either the Tavern or the Cellar (if using cellar exp). At the start of your turn, you will roll your 6-sided die, the result corresponding to one of the rats. It is then your choice how you handle the rat. You can only perform 1 action including a move, or basic “bite” attack. Your turn continues as normal and the opponent does the same. The rats are very weak but can cause a big problem as wasted actions killing them can mean an upper hand for your opponent, unless of course you agree to kill them off first ;) A “re-spawn” rule will be provided as an additional variant to keep up the excitement! Additional copies of both the deluxe and classic game can be added without any additional shipping charges up to 5 copies per backer. After 5, the cost is an additional $5 per copy. What are the rule stickers mentioned?

We will be printing all Add On rule variant onto sticker sheets as well as a normal paper sheet. There will be space in the back of the official rules title Variants to Play where the stickers can be placed so all your rules are in one spot! Last updated: Sat, Jul 26 2014 6:00 pm EDT

What is Wild Wolves?

“There’s more to worry about than a flying chair when you step out back. The dark forest behind the tavern is filled with wicked creatures. They will lurk in the shadows waiting for the perfect chance to strike! Will you be able to avoid getting too close? Can you make these creatures work to your advantage?” Wild Wolves is a game play variant that introduces a bit more randomness into the game and gives the players the chance to work together if even briefly or screw each other over even more, just like the rats! Option 1: Use them just like the rats! (Wolves are also numbered 1-6) Option 2: Keep the wolves off the board. During play, if a Unit moves adjacent to one of the Out Back obstacles, a wolf is spawned and attacks that Unit. Spawned wolves will stay in place until a Unit ends it’s movement within 2 spaces of a wolf. At that point it will make an attack against that Unit. This creates sort of a “trap” placed around the board. The players can work hard to avoid the wolves, or work together to take them out! Final rules pending further testing! What is a Play Mat?

This actually comes with two mats, both feature a layout of the standard party setup!. This includes designated areas for your 5 Unit Cards, Wound Tokens, and Status Tokens. These are a great way to organize your components and they fit nicely into the box! Each player will need one of these so for a 4 player game you will need an extra set. BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
